Who runs the site

CalcSorted.com is an independent website run by a private individual based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”).

Our calculators give estimates

Each calculator works out a result from the numbers you enter and the assumptions it states on the page. The result is an estimate, not a promise of what will happen.

A calculator can only use what you tell it. It doesn’t know your full situation, and it leaves out anything the page says it excludes, such as fees or tax. Real figures from your lender, platform or provider can differ.

Not advice

The site gives general calculations and information. It isn’t financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

We don’t tell you what to do with your money.
We don’t recommend any product, lender or provider, and we don’t name them.
We don’t take payment from providers, and there are no affiliate links.

Before you decide anything, check the figures with your lender or provider. If you need advice for your own situation, ask a qualified, regulated adviser.

What we promise, and what we don’t

We work hard to get the calculations right. Every calculator is checked before it is published. See how we check our calculators.

But we are a small, independent site, and we can make mistakes:

Provided “as is”. We provide the site and everything on it “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise that the results, information or links are complete, correct or up to date, or that the site will always work.
Rounded figures. Results are rounded for display, as each page explains.
Rules change. Where a page uses a rate or rule that can change, it shows the date we last checked it.

Using the site and its content

You may use the calculators for yourself, and share links to any page.

Please don’t copy our pages, text or calculators to another website, app or product, or sell them, without our written permission.

We link to official sources and other useful websites. They open in a new tab. Other websites can change, move or stop working at any time. We aren’t responsible for other websites or their content.

Our responsibility to you

We provide this site free of charge. Results are estimates, so please check anything important before you act on it.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by using the site or relying on its results. This includes any decision you make about buying or selling, investing, borrowing or paying off a loan.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit or exclude. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms. The latest version is always on this page.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can take legal action about them in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can also use the Scottish courts. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can also use the courts of Northern Ireland.
